Behind the shirt: Flagstaff, Arizona is the first recognized Dark Sky City, which is where the name "Dark Sky Starlets" comes from. For this season's limited edition shirt, Kid designed a scene which is commonly seen in Downtown Flagstaff - the BNSF railway! Trains are frequently spotted throughout Flagstaff and even heard at our outdoor practice space. This unique handmade design is for derby, train, and Flagstaff fans! Behind the campaign: The Dark Sky Starlets is the WFTDA A team for High Altitude Roller Derby, based in Flagstaff, Arizona. This season, the Starlets have travelled to Victoria and Vancouver for International games for their ranking. This Fall, the travelling continues as they play in tournaments in Lake Tahoe, Tucson, and Colorado Springs. Funds raised will go towards tournament fees & registration, travel stipends, and team lodging. Thank you for supporting local roller derby!
