• We are the only non-profit that exists whose primary function is to benefit our critically endangered SC State Heritage Horse in its historically native habitat that has an "open barn door" policy welcoming the public
• The last Marsh Tackies were removed from Daufuskie Island in the 80's due to resort development. We brought them "home" in 2015
• There are only around 500 registered Marsh Tacky horses in the entire world
