"Live Like Ashleigh"
If there is one person who lives in the moment and knows what she wants out of life, it's Ashleigh.
Ashleigh's life changed forever on 8/9/2022. After what started as feeling slightly bloated and gassy while on a trip to Colorado in mid-June 2022 (elevation, right?) and thinking "worst case scenario, I need my gallbladder out," Ashleigh received a diagnosis of State 4 Pancreatic Adenocarcinoma with Liver Metastases. How could a healthy 31-year-old with no medical history and no family history of cancer suddenly find herself in a fight for her life? To say the diagnosis was shocking was an understatement. After visits with oncologists at Roger Maris Cancer Center in Fargo, Alomere Health in Alexandria, and Mayo Clinic in Rochester, all three doctors agreed on the diagnosis, staging, and course for treatment. Ashleigh started aggressive chemotherapy on 8/29/22 and will continue every two weeks as long as she's able to tolerate treatment. How she responds to treatment will determine future course of action. Please consider buying a shirt to help offset lost wages, travel costs. lodging, and the substantial medical bills which have started to roll in. If you are unable to purchase a shirt, please share this link to spread the word! Thank you!
