Our sweet son, Luca Charles Cerullo, was diagnosed with Infantile Sandhoff five days before he turned one. We were in immediate contact with the NTSAD who welcomed us into the family with open arms and warm hearts. It is truly a family no one ever wants to be a part of but we are so glad we found other families who understand the tough battles these diseases bring. Luca accomplished many things in his short life, but becoming a big brother three months post diagnosis was by far his best accomplishment. Luca fought courageously every single day until he passed away on October 23, 2024. We are incredibly grateful for what the NTSAD has provided our family and all families involved within the organization. Every dollar makes a difference in awareness, advocacy and the research needed to find a cure.
