My name is Jaz and since early 2013 I've been fighting this monster of a chronic illness. I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called Systemic lupus erythematosus or Lupus SLE for short. Lupus is a chronic (long-term) disease that can cause inflammation and pain in any part of your body. It?s an autoimmune disease, which means that your immune system ? the bodies system that usually fights infections ? attacks healthy tissue instead. Lupus most commonly affects your: Skin, Joints, and Internal organs, like your kidneys and heart. Because Lupus affects many parts of the body, it can cause a lot of different symptoms. When I created my original design (pictured below), I just wanted to have an awareness shirt of my own, and because of that shirt, I've connected with so many others fighting this battle with me from all over the country!
In 2020, I created another design (pictured below) in hopes to bring awareness to my fellow high risk/ immunocompromised warriors out there. Covid-19 has brought on so much stress to the invisible illness community and will continue to do so as the virus continues to become a "new normal".

Last year, I released yet another brand new design (pictured below) and it is making its return this year with new additions/colors! 2022 has brought me an incredible opportunity to raise money for the Lupus Foundation of America in a brand new way! I will be livestreaming on twitch having my very first charity stream during LFA's Game on to End Lupus! I hope these shirts will spread some much needed awareness as well as help raise funds for lupus research, education, advocacy and care services for people just like me!
