About this campaign
Octagon Wildlife Sanctuary, "the wildest retirement home in Punta Gorda, Florida", rescues abused and abandoned exotic "zoo type" animals. We never breed or buy any of our animals. They come and live out the rest of their lives in safe and loving surroundings, never having to "work" or "perform" or suffer horrible abuse any longer. Octagon is a non profit, 501c3 and solely relies on volunteers to care for our animals and donations from generous, animal loving people, like you! Expenses amount to over $8,000 a month (many times more) for the animals' care, medical expenses and maintenance for enclosures and the sanctuary property, so fundraisers like this help immensely.
