When our galgos go to their forever home, we always hope it does mean forever.
But just in case, we at SAGE provide a safety net for every galgo or podenco we place.
In the months September and October of this year we had to come true to our promise 3 times for a total of 5 galgos, a few of them special needs.
This together with 3 long term fosters (longer than a year) and 3 galgos still needing homes, SAGE has been caring for 11 galgos.
This puts a big strain on our small organization.
Luckily we do have some creative people willing to help and so now we have our own ugly sweater for this holiday season!
