Our son, Carter Keith Williams, was born in 2016 and he was diagnosed with a GRIN1 genetic disorder in 2017. Carter passed away in 2023 from complications of GRIN1. He helped change our lives and others' lives all over the world. That impact continues to this very day through the CureGRIN Foundation. The CureGRIN Foundation was co-founded by my wife, and others, to help fund research and provide support for Carter, others like him with GRI Disorders and our families.
