OPAWL member Erin Siao created this design to celebrate the different foods that nourish our communities. This APAHM we are inviting you to join us in embracing our rich gastronomic heritage by proudly wearing this OPAWL design!

 OPAWL is the largest AAPI base-building organization in the Midwest, organizing an active membership base of over 350 people in Cleveland, Akron, Columbus, Cincinnati, Dayton, and across the state. We are a multi-ethnic, multigenerational, intersectional feminist community centered around immigrants, refugees, and adoptees; women; and queer and trans individuals. Our members represent the diverse diaspora of Asia and the Pacific Islands, including those of South Asian, Southeast Asian, East Asian, Central Asian, Southwest/West Asian, Pacific Islander, and Native Hawaiian descent.

At OPAWL, we practice collective care, organize resistance, and grow new grassroots leadership. In a climate of rising fear, anger, and scarcity, our leaders are practicing ways to cultivate collective hope and resilience to transform social conditions
