Clement Waters Retreat is a Kansas City-based public health nonprofit.
Since 2017, our work has focused on helping neighbors reconnect with living landscapes near home for stronger bodies, steadier minds, and healthier communities.
We create and support programs that make nature?s care accessible to everyone:
? Seed Families ? a partnership with KC Health Initiative providing companion-plant seed bundles that start kitchen gardens and strengthen local food security.
? Team Naturespace ? volunteer workdays at The Retreat at Gregory Ridge, Kansas City?s first community-centered edible native botanical garden.
? The Rooted Path ? guided walks that restore calm and connected wisdom through time outdoors.
? Dream Cohorts ? seasonal workshops with MY REGION WINS! that help people uncover personal purpose and apply it for community good.
? Stream Solace ? an annual grounding weekend retreat next to flowing water where facilitated activities transform your personal ability to act effectively in relationship to the world.
Behind the scenes, Clement Waters also coordinates Groundswell Growth, an administrative support program for grassroots community-sourced, community-led organizations. Through this consultancy, we selectively work with community leaders driven by similar people-serving, Earth-honoring missions, supporting their work so they can do for their communities what Clement Waters could not hope to achieve as an outsider-led organization.
Groundswell Growth's consulting services are powered by the Reciprocity Engine, a communal giving practice which strengthens grassroots missions through capacity building, monetary provision, and reciprocal sharing of non-capital resources.
Every purchase or contribution through Bonfire helps keep these hands-on efforts growing ? cultivating natural health that can be tended, shared, and passed down through generations.
