Lupus Foundation of America

The Lupus Foundation of America (LFA) is the only national force devoted to solving the mystery of lupus while giving caring support to those who suffer from its brutal impact. We envision a life free of lupus. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for all people affected by lupus through programs of research, education, support and advocacy.

Fundraising and advocacy efforts help ensure we reach our disease-specific goals:

1. Reduce the time to diagnosis
2. Ensure people with lupus have an arsenal of safe and effective treatments 
3. Expand direct services and increase access to treatment and care

Through research, we tackle lupus from every direction to identify the causes, treatments, and means to prevent and cure this disease.
