Thoroughbred Athletes Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to the next steps of the Thoroughbred racehorse after their career on the track. The mission of Thoroughbred Athletes, Inc. is to rehabilitate, retrain, and re-home off track Thoroughbred horses and afford the community especially youth the opportunity to experience the process. Thoroughbred Athletes also is one of the very few Oklahoma Thoroughbred facilities that not only takes in responsibly retired thoroughbreds from their owner/trainer but also actively rescues thoroughbred racehorses that are found in kill pens and fundraises to bail them out before they ship to slaughter. They live by the motto of ?respecting their past while preparing for their future?, TAI managers and volunteers make sure to provide all the medical needs, retraining and love before actively finding their horses forever homes.
