Last Christmas our family found out about a sister and brother, ages 7 and 8, living in an orphanage in Poland. We've followed their stories throughout the past year and in the fall found out that, sadly, they were separated when the sister was adopted locally in Poland. We were told that there is not much chance of the brother being adopted in his country because of his physical needs. So, our family has decided that we need to adopt him. We would love to tell you his name, but for online privacy rules for now he's K. We're holding a shirt sale to try to get things going with about $8000 of initial expenses before we can start applying for grants and other financial aid a littler later on.
