The Marine Mammal Stranding Center is the only authorized rescue, rehabilitation, and release facility for marine mammals and the authorized first responders for sea turtle strandings & disentanglements in the State of New Jersey. The MMSC is a 501 (c) (3) private nonprofit organization. Our life-saving work is funded by private donations from the public, fundraisers, grants, retail gift shop sales and our Bonfire campaigns.
