For the 2nd year in a row we're celebrating Pittiefest and shining a spotlight on these lovable dogs who too often get overlooked. For instance, did you know that "pitbull" isn't an actual breed? It's a broad term used to describe dogs with similar traits and characteristics.


Thanks to the John & Christine Tortorella Foundation, Pittiefest will run at all Pennsylvania SPCA sites August 1-15, with all pittie adoption fees at $5.
