THE CLASSIC 90s toy that spun her beautiful wings around your bedroom was swiftly removed from shelves forever after a small number of injuries were reported. The small potential risk of children in harm was good enough of a reason to say "bye!" to her perfectly pointed toes altogether. Why isn't the same true for firearms, which have harmed - and killed - far more (like so, so many more) children than a dazzling plastic dancer?

ALL PROFITS go to the Sandy Hook Promise Foundation which "envisions a future where children are free from shootings and acts of violence in their schools, homes, and communities". I have chosen this foundation born out of Sandy Hook's 26-victim tragedy because I myself come from a small town in Connecticut only 30 minutes from Newtown, CT. No matter where you are, all gun violence strikes too close to home.
