Inspired by our educational program promoting PA Biodiversity, this year's design features several important species of animals and plants found in Pennsylvania, many of which have been patients at West Shore Wildlife Center.
The animals we chose were the Great Egret, a Tricolored Bat, a Wood Turtle, a Leopard Frog, and a Meadow Fritillary butterfly. They're all endangered or threatened species you can find in PA.
The tree is a White Oak (one of the best native trees to plant if you can!) and the flowers are Black-eyed Susans and Purple Coneflowers. They're all native to PA and offer benefits for a variety of species.
