One day in IB Physics II, a group of students were sent to take some lab measurements. When they returned, one of them sported concussion-like symptoms and the group proudly showed their teacher a video... of said student flying through the air and landing in his head after being launched into flight by his friends.


Like any decent physics teacher, she turned this experience into a lesson on kinematics, and the T-shirt fundraiser was born. The class decided to raise funds to purchase LabQuest batteries for their dear Science Department (and maybe a helmet).
