I turned 54 this year, the same age as my sister Vicki Olson-Anderson when her life was cut short by an aggressive vulvar cancer. In honor of Vicki, I'm riding 500+ miles, from Manhattan to Niagara Falls, in the 2026 Empire State Ride. The front of this shirt incorporates a logo designed by Vicki's husband Jeff Anderson at the time she was fighting for her life. The back features the logo and mission of Roswell Park and the ESR, overtop a a silhouette of New York. The color purple represents all cancers as well as the specific cancer that took Vicki's life.
