About this campaign
We are excited to announce the design of a commemorative shirt in honor of Mom Decorah. She is pictured on the shirt with D29, D30, and D31 ? her last offspring with Dad Decorah in the famous cottonwood tree. For over 10 years, Dad brought joy, wonder and knowledge to millions of people around the world, while being an eagle partner to Mom Decorah and an eagle Dad to at least 31 eaglets. He disappeared following a heavy snowstorm in April of 2018, leaving Mom to raise his last three eaglets by herself. For four months, Mom kept her young safe, warm, dry, and fed, delivering over 475 meals in just 120 days! Moving on without Dad Decorah was tough, but in his absence, we experienced the wonder of Super Mom! We hope you like this shirt as much as we do and wear it with pride in honor of a bald eagle that has truly been a SUPER MOM!

First launched in 2009, the Decorah Eagle cam is the most watched live stream of all time, with nearly 400 million views since 2011. Watchers around the world have fallen in love with the Decorah Eagle family and the daily struggles and rewards of life in an Iowa Bald Eagle?s nest. We are privileged to have become part of this eagle family?as much as we humans can. They do indeed seem like family!

The Raptor Resource Project's is a non-profit organization. We are dedicated to preserving and strengthening raptor populations, expanding participation in raptor conservation, and educating people around the world about raptors and their habitats.
