This shirt has printing on the front only. Design by Prince Shakur (IG @sweetblackprince).
Salif Sarr is a Columbus-based international pop star known for his love of the Fulani people and advocacy for Black Mauritanian civil rights. Ohio Immigrant Alliance is bringing him to Columbus Arts Festival for a free concert on June 13, 2026.
He will be joined on stage by Shema Asifiwe, the artist behind the "Ohio Is My Second Country" coloring book and Demba Ndiath, OIA Advocacy Director and author of "From Welcome To Deportation: A Story of West African Migrants Who Crossed the U.S.-Mexico Border."
Purchase this shirt and wear it to the concert on June 13 at 3pm. Read more here. Watch videos of Salif's performance at the 2025 OIA Family Reunion here.
Proceeds from sales of this shirt will support the Detained Immigrants Commissary Fund, which allows OIA to put money on the books of Ohioans detained for ICE in jails around the state. Immigration jail should not exist, but while it does we help bring a little comfort and dignity to people incarcerated there so they can call home, purchase soup or warm clothing, and basically survive.
The Ohio Immigrant Alliance is a group of US-born citizens and immigrants advocating for humane immigration laws, because immigrants are valued members of Ohio communities. Support our work and spread the message that Ohio Is Home for All. Learn more at ohioimmigrant.org and check out our community protection website, OhioIsHome.org.
