Sally and Todd are alive today as are countless others because of the Stand Up For Pits Foundation. Todd was rescued from a dogfighting operation and Sally from the Baldwin Park shelter before being euthanized. Both are victims of humanity. Humans used them and abused them and intended on killing them yet they, like all dogs labeled "pit bulls" are blamed, banned and discriminated against. To further victimize victims by blaming them is intolerable as is discrimination. The treatment of dogs labeled pit bull "type" dogs is a direct reflection of our society. Discrimination is wrong, whether the discriminated has two legs or four, it is wrong. If there is to ever be real change, we must change the fear based ignorance that exists in our society. Humans are and always have been the problem and it's time the two legged type's holding the leash be held accountable. Dogs are not the problem, people are.
Wearing this shirt will provide opportunities for you to educate others by telling the stories of Sally and Todd and the countless others like them. One mind changed, one person educated is vital to saving lives.
We are their voice and it's up to us to END DISCRIMINATION of INHERENTLY GOOD dogs who cannot speak for themselves.
