Mocha and Thor are two beautiful, young horses that have been through a lot in their lives all ready. The last thing to happen to them was being abandoned at our stable while Mocha was undergoing long term medical treatment that a fundraiser helped pay for since the owner was unable to. Without it, Mocha would have lost her life.

Legal action was taken against the owner to gain ownership once they were abandoned so we could get vet care for both and keep them safe. Came to find out from the vet that Thor has vision issues and an issue with his back fetlock. Mocha?s medical issue was juvenile bone spavin which took over a year to treat. She is now doing fantastic. Thor also with some work is doing extremely well. Both have gone from being nervous and untrusting of people to loving attention, being first at the gate when they see you, they love to work and learn new things. Without fundraising to help pay for their needs we wouldn?t be able to keep them, but from the trauma they went through it would be cruel to let them go.
