Today I officially RSVP?d for my FIRST training walk of the year? and this will be my 12th year walking. ?

But this year? I?m aiming bigger.

I?m hoping to walk TWO events.

To make that happen, I?ll need to raise at least $5,300 total between the two walks.

Breast cancer changed our family forever in 2015. I watched my mom go through a double mastectomy, painful recoveries, surgeries, fear, exhaustion, and so much uncertainty. Watching someone you love fight like that changes you.

So when people ask why I walk through rain, wind, heat, cold, blisters, cramps, sore muscles, and exhaustion? this is why.

Because if my mom could fight through all of that, I can keep putting one foot in front of the other. ?

This cause is deeply personal to me. Every donation, share, message, and bit of encouragement helps push me closer to those finish lines.

Year 12 starts now? and I?m ready to walk for the fighters, survivors, and the families forever changed by this disease. ?
