To know Shelby Carroll is to love her. To love Shelby Carroll is to reflect her love for you. My wife Shelby has been the brightest beacon of pure love and light that I have ever experienced. And I am not only speaking from my personal experience. Shelby is an indiscriminate donor of light and love to everyone.

Shelby has been diagnosed with triple positive breast cancer. We now know that this type of cancer is highly treatable and highly curable, but understand that the road to recovery is long and will not be an easy one. Already Shelby and I have had to make difficult, life altering choices that even weeks ago would have seemed unbelievable.

Shelby is just beginning her journey towards recovery, and even in the early phase of this trial I am reaffirmed in my belief that Shelby is incredibly brave and dauntingly powerful. Breast Cancer will not define my wife or diminish her shine.
