Hello! And thank you so much for considering helping me be financially able to get a fully trained service dog to help me live a more stable and independent life. If you know me personally, you know I have been suffering with Supraventricular Tachycardia for years now. However, what you may not know, is that I have also been struggling with an increasingly worsening and debilitating panic disorder. This combination has caused me to lose a lot of my independence and confidence in my everyday life. What will a service dog do for me? It will be able to alert me of my SVT episodes before I am even aware of it. It will provide Deep Pressure Therapy at the onset of panic and anxiety attacks and assist with grounding when my dissociation takes hold. It will help me to feel safe going places alone again- something I struggle with currently. I have submitted all of the paperwork, received a statement of necessity from my doctors and, now, all that is left is raising the money to make this a reality!
