Abortion access and bodily autonomy have been under attack for decades, and the overturning of Roe v. Wade in June 2022 was a cross-generational wake-up call: Our battle for human rights is far from over.
What many people do not realize is that the legal right to abortion care does not guarantee access to essential reproductive healthcare. In fact, there are more than 2,500 anti-abortion crisis pregnancy centers (CPCs) across ALL 50 STATES in the U.S. intentionally targeting marginalized and vulnerable communities with misleading propaganda. Although they may look like and be named like medical clinics, the truth is that the vast majority of these anti-abortion CPCs operate with no oversight, no healthcare regulation, and a hidden agenda. That's why we call them "Fake Clinics".
