A Fun Hobby has Become Something More

In 2018, Jennifer Han and Sarah Callen discovered their shared love of film. They would watch movies together and share hours-long conversations afterward. They would send voice memos back and forth with their reviews of films. After a while, they had an audacious thought... 'What if we hit record?'


They started the podcast not really knowing what they were doing. They lacked a plan other than just having fun doing something they loved.


In 2023, they rebranded their podcast to Movies & Us and launched a second podcast, TV & Us. What started as a fun hobby started to take shape and turn into something more.


In 2024, they made it official, forming a company, And Us Media. They also launched their Etsy shop, making Movies & Us merchandise available.
