The week of my 30th birthday 2025, I fractured my Tibial Plateau. I was devastated and scared - surgery in a week?! A fractured bone? I had never had a surgery and did not see this freak accident coming a mile away. I had to wait a week in agonizing pain before my swelling went down and I could get surgery (plates and screws). My surgery was a success and I spent 2 months in bed NON-WEIGHT BEARING ON MY RIGHT LEG. No walking. No driving. No MOVING!

I realized early on, my mental health was just as important as my physical healing. This injury is TOUGH (as is any surgery) and I quickly discovered the importance of positivity, community and connection. I created a Facebook group: "Baddies On Break" and started posting on social media with the hashtag #BaddieOnBreak to find other people going through the same injury. I created this merch line to connect all of us???? We may be snapped, but we are SLAYING!
