Homeward Bound Pets Humane Society is Oregon?s FIRST no-kill shelter and has been helping cats and dogs in the McMinnville and Yamhill County area for over 50 years. 

Every animal that comes to our shelter stays with us until they are adopted. We believe that each animal has unique qualities that someone is looking for in a companion and that time increases the chances of them finding each other. With your help, our small staff and volunteer team provided nearly 10,000 lifesaving services to cats and dogs last year including spay/neuter surgeries, caring for shelter pets, reuniting lost dogs with their families, administering vaccines and microchips, finding forever homes, and issuing licenses to ensure lost pets have a better chance of getting home. It?s because of our generous community that our work continues.
