Every day, countless animals arrive at the Fairfield County Animal Control & Adoption Center with nothing but hope in their eyes. Hearts Unleashed was created to answer that hope ? by providing lifesaving care, foster families, rescue partnerships, and the promise of a brighter tomorrow.

Founded by passionate volunteers and advocates, Hearts Unleashed is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to reducing the Fairfield County Animal Shelter overcrowding, provide support to rescue partners, and giving every animal a chance at a better life by enriching the time spent in the shelter with playgroups, Doggie Daycation, activities, events, treats, supplies and medical care that falls outside of the municipal county budget.
