As a sports photographer and former Division 1 field hockey athlete, field hockey has shaped how I understand what it takes for athletes to keep showing up. When people have the chance to see the game, understand it, and follow the athletes behind it, the sport starts to grow. The work players put in becomes more visible, and the game becomes something more people can connect with.

I think a lot about what comes after college and the future of women?s sports beyond that stage. More leagues, more opportunities to play, and more communities across the country getting the chance to experience and support the game.
