Little Buckets Farm Sanctuary is giving animals a safe and loving home they all deserve. Many animals are hurt, discarded, too young to survive on their own, or looked over for no fault of their own. At Little Buckets Fam Sanctuary those animals will be given a chance at a new life. They will be rehabilitated if needed, given plenty of food, shelter, love, and the necessary care all while making our farm their new home. They will never again be scared or hungry. They will only know love, having a full tummy and a place to call home while allowing them a chance to show off their personality, play with friends, and share their love they have so wanted to give to someone. Bucket, Colton, Pete, Dee, Blondie, Charlie, Olive, and Hopie were all rescued. Bucket was saved at a livestock auction at only a day old. He was torn from his mother and taken to an auction where the fate of most is a very short life. I bottle raised him. Bucket became friends immediately with Colton who I rescued when she was 7 months old. Now that Bucket is 3 years old, they still play and hang out together. They are forever friends. Hopie was rescued in July 2018 where she was very near death, could not walk, and barely could hold her head up. But she wanted to eat and drink and fight for her life. After I got her, she was being syringed water to stay hydrated every few hours even through the night. I never gave up on her and she never stopped fighting. She slowly gained her strength and later with the help of a cart, she started to get upright and mobile. Before we knew it she was running with her cart down the aisle of the barn. And again before we knew it, she was wanting to stand on her own and take steps. Now she is happy, healthy, feisty, and running all over the farm. She is truly an inspiration and our little miracle goat!Blondie and Charlie were rescued in December 2018 rescued prior to being sent to auction. Pete and Dee were rescued in May 2019 from the same fate. These 4 became great friends and their ears are too cute as they always look like they are going to fly. They are so happy and play and run together all the time. Olive arrived two months pregnant in April 2019. She was very neglected and has had to learn to trust humans again and everyday she still battles her demons from her first two years of life. But on March 25, 2020, her baby girl finally arrived and Olive has become an amazing mom to little Willow who is the cutest little baby donkey you could imagine.
