During my senior year at Boise State University (BSU), I raised over $200,000 and founded a scholarship for Women in STEM, Medicine, and Law after a professor at BSU made disparaging comments discouraging women from pursuing careers in STEM, Medicine, and Law.

Each year, 4-8 Boise State University women receive the endowed scholarship. Women deserve to feel safe and empowered in all places and to have the same opportunities as men. Let's help increase the percentage of women in all fields, especially STEM, medicine, and law, and continue to support the message that women belong in all places.
