The mission of the Native Plant Initiative of Greater New Orleans is to increase the use of native plants by expanding public awareness of their ecological benefits, boosting availability, and by preserving and creating native plant communities.

We are a dedicated group of over 120 passionate volunteers committed to ensuring the availability of native plants in our community. Through plant giveaways, seed sharing, and educational events and communications, we actively promote sustainable gardening and environmental awareness.
