July 30th, 2025 my life changed forever. Most of you know my story by now. The doctors found a heart clot in my left ventricle and pieces of that clot broke off and landed in my spleen, kidneys, and legs. Unfortunately, it was too late for my legs. I lost both of my legs within a week. I am now an above the knee (left) and a below the knee (right and still fighting infection) amputee. If I had paid more attention to my symptoms early on like chest pain, light headedness, and general lethargy I may have been able to save my legs. This campaign is designed to promote regular heart screenings so no one has to go through what I?ve been through.
