About the campaign on Bonfire 1

In honor of our 20th Anniversary, we partnered with artist Rachel Domond to create a design commemorating over 20 years of Partners for Dignity & Rights!

Rachel Domond (@muvagaia) is a self-taught Haitian visual artist & organizer living in Brooklyn. Her art explores themes of solidarity, sovereignty, and pride, drawing on both her Caribbean heritage and the rich histories of people?s movements around the world. Rachel seeks to make art that speaks to working peoples? realities under the structures that attempt to keep us disenfranchised and disempowered, while highlighting the beauty, resilience and ever-growing power of the roots from which we?ve grown.

About the campaign on Bonfire 3

Rachel?s design brings light to the pillars of our work including: flowers representing the labor movement and our Worker Driven Social Responsibility Network, a book representing education justice and the Dignity in Schools Campaign, a house representing our Land & Affordable Housing work, a ballot representing our New Social Contract work, and tying it all together are the organizers at the heart of our work.

About the campaign on Bonfire 5

Over the past two decades, Partners for Dignity & Rights (formerly NESRI) has joined together with grassroots organizations to build and win innovative legal and policy models that advance equity, strengthen public goods, and build community power.

We were honored to mark our 20th anniversary on May 21st by celebrating the work with critical partners and allies - Learn more here!

We were thrilled to spotlight the following honorees for their impactful leadership:

  • Centro de Trabajadores Unidos en la Lucha (CTUL) is a worker-led organization leading the fight for worker power and workers rights, from raising wages for workers across Minneapolis and St. Paul, to recovering millions of dollars in stolen wages, to building a first of its kind standards enforcement program. CTUL is a leading force in building power for workers to live and work with dignity.
  • Vince Warren is the Executive Director of the Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR), where he has led innovative legal and policy strategies resulting in groundbreaking victories in and out of the courtroom. CCR has opened up new ground for organizers and communities to hold governments responsible for violating human rights, redress structural inequities, and build a just and equitable future for all.
  • Susan Blaustein and WomenStrong International support women?s leadership around the globe. Susan has brought her deep commitment to equity and human rights to Partners for Dignity & Rights as a Board Member over the past six years, and is the Founder and Executive Director of WomenStrong International, which supports local women-led organizations in the Global South.
