At 55, I entered my first powerlifting competition because I wanted a goal, a deadline, and a reason to get strong again.
That first meet qualified me for Nationals. A few months later, I won my division at the 2026 USA Powerlifting Masters National Championships and earned the opportunity to represent the United States at the Powerlifting World Championships in Houston this November.
I turned 56 a few weeks later. ?
This special Road to Worlds Edition features Strength Has No Expiration Date on the front and the Roland's Road to the Powerlifting World Championships ? Houston 2026 design on the back.
Proceeds help offset the costs of my trip to Worlds (https://RolandToWorlds.com), including competition, travel, and related expenses?and additional support helps toward bringing my coach to Houston with me.
Whether you wear it to the gym, around town, or while following along during Worlds week, thank you for being part of Team Roland and this slightly ridiculous adventure.
Start where you are. Keep showing up. See where it takes you.
Strength has no expiration date.
