When you purchase a Red Shoes product, you support the work of the United Methodist Church's General Commission on the Status and Role of Women.

Seventy years ago, the UMC granted ordained women full clergy rights! In celebration of that milestone, and in honor of the women who fought for that right and the women who continue to accept God's call to the sacred vocation, I sketched these red shoes to create stickers to pass out at the Texas Annual Conference this month.

Upon sharing this online, women clergy all around the UMC connection have expressed their interest in doing the same and in wearing the message! So, the Red Shoe Sisterhood Collection was born.
