In 2021, Krystal was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder that severely damaged her lungs. After undergoing numerous intensive tests, labs, and appointments, she was approved by the UTSW Transplant team for a lung transplant. However, things were paused due to the financial strain this would put on her Krystal and her family. Any donations or tshirt purchases will go directly toward Krystal to help with the transplant surgery, recovery, lifelong medications, and follow up appointments she will have in the future.
