Prim has been battling intermittent, but progressive shifting forelimb lameness for over a year. Despite doing extensive diagnostics including bloodwork, multiple tick panels/PCR's, radiographs, CT scan, MRI, musculoskeletal ultrasounds, arthroscopy, and being treated with continued rehab, PT, and PRP, she continues to face battles in returning to dog normalcy. While extremely helpful overall, I did not realize that Pets Best insurance does not cover treatments such as PRP and other orthobiologic treatments. Costs have added up exponentially, but I refuse to give up on the fight to let Prim return to a pain free life. The future of agility remains uncertain, but right now the priority is to get her back to being an active and happy border collie who can run around with Pyro and not come up lame.
