On June 1, Banjo was rushed to the emergency vet with life-threatening blood sugar levels. On June 3, we received the confirmation we were hoping we wouldn?t hear?Banjo has cancer, and he will need surgery. Since then, everything has shifted into survival mode. He?s now home with us on high-dose steroids, and we?re doing everything we can to keep him comfortable and stable while we wait for his consultation on June 30 and figure out what comes next.

The reality is that his care is now expected to cost $10,000+ in addition to the $5200 we've already paid, and it?s more than we can manage on our own. So we?re trying to meet that reality with love, with action, and with whatever support we can find.
