20 years ago my family's life trajectory drastically changed. My mother passed away from suicide on July 8th, 2004 in Los Angeles, California. Her bipolar disorder had drastically worsened, and suicide seemed to be the only answer out. In 2020, I founded this organization 5 years ago as an 17 year old kid in a Dunkin' Donuts parking lot in Clemson, South Carolina, to remember her life through charitable work, educate, and start a dialogue about mental health and suicide. I never imagined what it would become. An annual day filled with loss, turned to one full of jubilation. We've raised over $5,000 for the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention, delivered over 2,000 christmas presents for children in need, over 1,500 meals, logged over 1,000 volunteer hours, coached 3 teams, and a whole lot more across 5 states & 15 cities. It's been a blessing to see who this organization has impacted, and how its affected people's lives over the years. It's been wonderful to see this day, become a yearly holiday for many, when it was a tragedy 20 years ago. I appreciate your support. All proceeds are directly donated to the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention of South Carolina.
