Ogden C.A.R.E.S. is a non-profit foundation dedicated to supporting the approximately 150 families across the globe who are living with an Ogden Syndrome diagnosis. 

Ogden Syndrome is an X-linked neurodevelopmental disorder that results from mutations on the NAA10 gene. Those effected exhibit a wide range of severity, but many individuals present with global motor deficits, decreased cognition, and issues with seizures, heart arrhythmias, and impaired vision.

Currently, there is no cure for Ogden Syndrome, so there is much work to be done to get those we love the adequate care and treatment they need! We are pursuing a couple different treatment development options including gene therapy and drug repurposing and for each the journey is long, complex and expensive! We will only get there with the support of our community! Many of those afflicted may be non-verbal, but with your help, their voices will be heard!
