Late September 2024 Hurricane Helene devastated the Southeastern portion of the United States. Fatalities and massive damage totaling to an estimated $6.46 billion in Georgia alone, from the category 4 hurricane, is a painful aftermath. Unfortunately, The Jenkins Family Nature Preserve is among many businesses that were damaged. In hopes of opening the preserve for the community again help is needed to remove debris and create a beautiful oasis for the community to come enjoy. Construction in our wildlife preserve and gardens is our priority so the community can again enjoy nature walks on our nature trails; and pick fruits, nuts, and vegetables for free in our gardens. In recognition of Earth Day 2025, TJFNP looks forward continuing to show gratitude to mother nature for her offerings and gifts by starting construction to enhance all nature has to offer. Please support our fundraiser to celebrate Earth Day so we can continue to protect, preserve, and care for our Earth!
