I am a daughter of Jamaica, residing in the United States. Jamaica has nurtured me with values of compassion, service, and care for the less fortunate. Those lessons have shaped me into the compassionate clinician and good Samaritan I have become.
During this challenging time, I am called to give back to the community that raised me.
When Hurricane Melissa swept through Jamaica, it brought unimaginable devastation, destroying homes, businesses, schools, places of worship, and livelihoods. Entire communities have been left struggling in its aftermath, facing hunger and uncertainty. My neighbors in Westmoreland are without homes, food, or basic necessities. The destruction has been heartbreaking, and the road to recovery will be long and challenging. Yet, I believe in the resilience of my people and the power of unity.
While my parents? home was not fully spared, we are deeply grateful that lives were spared. In the midst of loss, my family has been able to prepare and distribute food, clothing, and essentials to those who have lost everything. We have opened our doors to host neighbors during this difficult and trying period. Though we too suffered loss, we recognize how fortunate we are to still have a roof over our heads and a safe place from which to serve our community.
Yet, the need is greater than what one family can carry. That is why I am seeking donations from friends, families, colleagues, and all those touched by Jamaica?its people, its beauty, and its spirit.
This fundraiser is an opportunity for you to join me in restoring dignity and hope to my fellow Jamaicans. Your generosity will directly provide:
1. Food and hygiene supplies for families in urgent need
2. Building materials to rebuild homes and shelters
3. Life-saving assistance to support recovery and resilience
Together, we can help restore lives, rebuild homes, and remind our brothers and sisters in Jamaica that they are not alone. Every contribution: big or small, brings us closer to healing and renewal.
- $30 can feed a family for several days
- $100 can help provide shelter materials and clean water
- $300+ can contribute to repairing a damaged roof or help rebuilding a family's home
Please share this campaign with friends, family, and networks who stand for compassion and resilience.
Transparency & Accountability:
Every donation will go directly to relief efforts. We?ll share updates and progress reports so you can see the lives your generosity is touching.

God bless you & Love always ??,
