Wave Cut Ranch is located on California's rugged North Coast. We are a husband and wife team who have been working tirelessly since 2024 to restore the native landscapes and natural systems of our property. 

As a physical geographer and field biologist, our goal is to share the geography of California's living landscapes through conservation and education of native coastal landscapes, and through ecological and sustainable native plant nursery practices and products.

Our name, Wave Cut Ranch, refers to the geomorphology of the flat, stair-stepped marine terraces the ranch is situated on, which are wave cut platforms of nearshore ocean floor that have been uplifted above sea level by the tectonic forces of the San Andreas Fault system.
