Cardiac Care for Our Lifers
Many of the cats in our care are lifers ? cats who, because of age, medical needs, or temperament, will remain with us for the rest of their lives. Providing quality medical care for them is a responsibility we take seriously.
Heart disease is common in cats, affecting an estimated 1 in 7. Most cats show no symptoms until the disease is advanced, which makes early detection critical. A cardiac ultrasound (echocardiogram) is the only way to accurately diagnose these conditions and guide treatment.
We need to raise over $2,000 to fund cardiac ultrasounds for our lifers. Every shirt purchased helps cover the cost of these diagnostics, giving our cats the best chance at longer, healthier lives in the safety of our rescue.
