Whatever Floats Your Goat.

A silly sentiment? Absolutely. 

But...it is an intentional sentiment to connect hearts with the slightest bit of humor.

Humor to bring an ounce of levity to the heaviness of navigating so many parts of our journey through this life.

And intentional humor to encourage connection with your most authentic self as you tend to and care for yourself. 

After my Dad died, I was unmoored. One of the most significant anchors into my understand of who I am and how I operate in the world was gone. Learning to navigate the external world in which relatively nothing was changed was disorienting when the core of my internal world had fundamentally shifted. 

Slowly, ever so slowly...I found those things that floated my goat.  

• Moving my body in nature with our dogs (because there is nothing quite as wonderful as the free spirit embodied in their play!)
• Capturing pictures to share the wonder and beauty of the carefarm
• Quietly sitting and spending time with the animals of our sanctuary

Curious the things that do indeed float our goat bring an anchoring into the here and now....
