This year we are celebrating the Year of the Snake with Lobo and Lorenzo. These two horses were rescued separately by San Diego Humane Society after being abandoned in the Tijuana River Valley in 2023. Once at the ranch they have become best buddies. We borrowed the snake from the American Veterinary Medical Association. AVMA?s logo is inspired by the ancient Greek symbol, caduceus, which has come to represent medicine, especially in the United States.
